My best friend has NMO and had to move into assisted living in 2014. She’s had her first PLEX in May and again this August because of her optic nerve and losing the sight in her good eye very quickly. But the PLEX brought it back to 95%.

I’m glad you are feeling better and continue to feel better. I can’t even imagine how she’d deal with this if she had children.

    Hugs

I understand your situation. My children were 5 and 3 when I had my first NMO attack (that left me paralyzed chest down), plasmapheresis and 5-day solumedrol. It is good to have the support of your husband, mom and grandmother during these time of needs. Thanks to them! Our children motivates us to get through, move on and stand up after each attacks. Get well soon!
